Monique started her career in 1987 with a diploma of graphic design in Sydney Australia.
She moved to The Gold Coast, Queensland in 1990 to pursue her passion for art, starting her own extremely successful and unique sign business, specialising in Chalk Art.
As the years went by Monique expanded her business and artistic skills
to
stay ahead in the sign, art, and homewares industries.
She now operates an international Chalk Art School, starting in 2000, with over 600 students passing through her factory to date. She is Kelly Lane’s exclusive artist, supplying to around 1000 shops throughout Australia and New Zealand. She supplies Chalkart Studio, based in Sydney, exclusive Chalk Art images
for sign writers all over the world to download.
If there’s one thing for sure, things have moved ahead over the past 16 years at Monique’s Chalk Art
