You can now do Monique Professional Chalk Art Course from home.

I have finally completed my online course after 20 plus years of teaching, research and experience. This course suits everybody, even if you have never attempted art. I have already taught over 1000 students, many of them working as full time chalk artists all over the world.

It is available from January 1, 2012

The content is exactly the same as the 3 week professional course taught here at my studio but now, for the first time ever, you can do it at home at your own pace.

The course will be sent to you as a PDF. There are over 50 detailed pages with plenty of text and big bright pictures to assist you. The content is VERY easy to understand. It is not a look-and-copy chalk art course, it gives you a true understanding of Monique's unique chalk art techniques and teaches you how to think by yourself and develop your own individual style.

• MATERIALS INFORMATION - All the information and advice about what to buy and where to buy it. The materials are readily available in many stores and are inexpensive.
• MATERIALS APPLICATION - Monique takes you through all the materials step by step explaining and showing you how to correctly apply them and why.
• 3 DIMENSION SHAPES LESSON - Forget everything you thought you knew. Monique will take you back to the beginning and change your thought process. We start with the basics of how to create 3 dimensional shapes using our BLACK BACKGROUND!!!?!
• APPLY 3 DIMENSION SHAPES LESSON TO REAL PICTURES - this section utilises the 3 dimension lesson and intruduces you to applying the information to all future chalk art pictures. This is usually when the first penny drops!!!
• HEADINGS LESSON - Learn how to create headings for your chalk art, not by TRACING - we learn the hard way - and we really LEARN!
• HEADINGS & PICTURES TOGETHER - This lesson is where the real fun starts. We combine all the information you have learnt so far and put it all together. It just gets a little more challenging and thought provoking!
• LAYOUT LESSON - Layout is one of the more difficult aspects for any artwork and SO important - it's more important than you ever thought. Monique will give you some safe tips to stick to so you can't go wrong.
• WRITING THE MENU - The menu is of course your customers most important thing...and so it should be. One big, long, annoying lesson that will get your chalk writing skills going. Hmmmm some students love it, some hate it, but it's essential and it really works.
• COFFEE MENU LESSON - Now we put it all together and push your beautiful creative brain a little more. This section of the course will show you how to bring everything together for the first time. This is your first official professional chalk art menu, and you will get a big surprise to see what you are now capable of doing after such a short period of time. This always gives me goose bumps when my students complete it!!
• ASSIGNMENT - Now it's time to fly by yourself with a little help... you'll see.
• FINAL ASSIGNMENT AND ASSESMENT - Now it's time to fly by yourself with no help at all and I will judge your flying skills~!!!! your final assignment will be assessed by MONIQUE.
